Stiffness Rating System
All Mission Hockey(TM) boots feature a stiffness rating
label to aid shop employees and customers in selecting the correct model for their needs.
Here is how it works: There are two numbers in the rating, seperated by a dot. The first
number indicates the relative stiffness in the heel and ankle area of the boot, where
support is most critical. The second number refers to the forefoot and arch area of the
boot, where comfort and low break-in time are more important than support. What it means
to your sales people is an easier way to illustrate differences in boot construction and
performance. To your customers, increased confidence and satisfaction.
All Mission Hockey(TM) boots are built with a range of
stiffness that provides an excellent combination of support at the ankle and comfort of
the forefoot. Don't be fooled by cheap boots at cheap prices that are soft all over, and
impossible to skate in.
 | Stiffness Rated 7.5: Best for big, strong skaters, and for those
who want ankle security. |
| Stiffness Rated 5.5: Best for lighter weight skaters, and those who
want more mobility. |
| Stiffness Rated 5.3: Adequate support for all around play. |
